Organization builds fences to free chained dogs

The non-profit organization, Fences For Fido, is dedicated to freeing dogs that live their lives attached to a chain.

The organization was founded in 2009 and the staff build fences, supply doghouses and also neuter dogs so that they are able to be set free from their chains. In Salem, Oregon there have been 55 canines freed from their chains because of the efforts made by the people at Fences For Fido.

Volunteers are always needed to help the organization succeed. They are responsible for measuring the area where the fence will go and actually installing the fence. Each project could take several months to be completed. Donations are always welcomed by the non-profit as well.
