Washington University to construct fences around campus

As an effort to improve security, Washington University has planned to construct fences around the North side of the campus.

These fences will restrict entrance into the university for non-students in the residential area. Three fences will be built near the Village East and Milbrook dormitories and four gates will adorn the fences for student access.

The installation of the fences will be a two-part process. The first part will be the actual construction of the fences, which is set to take place in the beginning of January 2012. The second part will involve programming student cards that will allow access into the university.
