Man charged in dog attack after broken fence allowed dogs to get out

A Wichita Falls man was charged in a dog attack after two pit bulls got out of his yard and attacked a 48-year-old man that had to undergo many surgeries after the incident.

Both dogs are currently being contained at the animal shelter after investigation found that they were both considered dangerous. The attack occurred as the man walked by the home and saw the two dogs on the porch.

The smaller one attacked first and the larger one joined in after. The man charged said that there used to be a padlock on the fence, but it was broken and the faulty fence allowed for the dogs to get out.
