Missing fence near road has residents worried for safety

Residents in a Dallas neighborhood are concerned for their safety now that the fence that separated their homes from the freeway is gone.

The area of homes is right behind the LBJ Freeway between Webb Chapel Road and Forest Lane. Residents in the area now say that they feel unsafe living so close to the freeway.

The fence was taken down two months ago so that they could prepare to build 14 sound walls off of the LBJ Freeway. After a bad accident occurred that ended with cars in the ditch behind their homes, residents are wondering when the repairs will be made.
